J-rock music reviews or 音楽批評 (Ongaku hihyou) is the archive and community for reviews of various Visual kei and J-rock music releases, live performances and PV (promotional videos).

The focus of this group is strictly on reviews and the goal is to create an archive of music reviews that will help and/or entertain listeners of J-rock and Visual kei bands in considering a certain release.

VOX bloggers that have written reviews about J-rock and/or Visual kei should consider joining and contributing their reviews to this group.

~GROUP RULES AND GUIDELINES~
Type of reviews allowed:
1. Single reviews
2. Mini-album reviews
3. Album reviews
4. Omnibus reviews
5. Tribute album reviews
6. Best of album reviews
7. Live DVD reviews
8. PV collection DVD reviews
9. Live preformances (such as festival, TV or any other live performance) reviews
10. PV (Promotional Video) reviews
11. Demotape and promotion releases reviews
Live reports,TV appearance and interviews,magazine and photoshoot reviews and others are not allowed, because this group's focus is entierly on music reviews.

Artists allowed:
Basically any Visual kei (and it's subgenres such as Oshare kei, Nagoya kei...) and J-rock (japanese rock) artists and bands.

Languages allowed:
Every language is allowed but when posting on a language other than English make sure you include the language name in the tags (like French, German, Spanish, etc...) so the post's can be sorted better.

Joining and member management rules
-You may feel free to join the group, but please with the intention of actually POSTING REVIEWS. Nobody says you can't read or comment the posts, but please if you're already in the group try to contribute to it.
- Joining for the intention of self promoting is prohibited. THIS IS A JAPANESE ROCK MUSIC REVIEWS GROUP, NOT A PROMOTION GROUP! Any members joining in for that reason will be deleted from the group.
- Inactive members will eventually be deleted, so if you want to stay in the group contribute to it, at least one review will do.
- Members breaking any of the group's rules will be deleted.

Posting rules
> Please check if you post matches the criteria listed up ^^^^^^
> Language: Make sure your post's grammar and spelling are correct. No one loves a illiterate review, not only it is hard to read but you're embarrassing only yourself.
> Avoid rude and impolite words and expressions as well as insulting and flaming. Such posts will be removed.
> Try to keep your personal life as well as information outside of the reviews.
> TAGS! Please make sure you've tagged your posts correctly to make them easier to sort and to find while browsing tags. When tagging make sure the post has got tags that indicate: type of release (single, mini-album, album, omnibus, Live dvd, pv...) and artist (romanized names as well as original kanji names are preferable). Other tags are optional.
> For review purposes you can link and use all the material posted on Ongaku Hihyou (from music to videos).
> Think twice before posting.

Commenting rules
> NO FLAMING! Don't expect everyone to share the same love/hate for a band as you do plus insulting somebody isn't approved nor polite. Such comments will be deleted.  Think twice before posting.
> COMMON SENSE! Please don't fangirl, bash, flam about reviews nor share your personal information such as e-mail or anything else in the posts. If you want to contact somebody do it over Personal messages.
> WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE! Please write as understandable as you can and be polite please.
